Currently, a majority of research materials are complex and difficult to explore, as many research-based applications aren't very intuitive or user-friendly to use. It can be challenging to acquire and gather such a significant amount of data, particularly for anthropologists conducting fieldwork outside without easy access to the internet.
Our mobile app is intended to give field researchers an interactive tool where they can input scratch notes and annotate them with research notes that can be pinned anywhere on the image. The team's collection of uploaded photographs is then accessible to collaborators, who may simply access all of the annotated scratch notes that have been added to each image. To make uploading photographs and notes simpler compared to other applications available on the market. We want to use typography, alignment, and color to construct a visual hierarchy of information. The application will primarily be designed for researchers to be comfortably used on the go.
